This is the most welcome kind of message.

We publish every source and every calculation because a reader should be able to check them — and because when you check and find an error, we can fix it.

It helps if you can include:

• Which article, and which passage
• What you believe is wrong
• The source you're relying on, if you have one

If it turns out we were wrong, we correct the article and note that we corrected it.

Anything else

• Questions about an article
• Suggestions for something to check
• Questions about citing our tables (see below)
• Questions about the privacy policy

The tables on Numbers We Calculated Ourselves are free to use. Copy them, republish them, screenshot them.

We only ask for a link back, so that readers can check the method for themselves.

What we can't help with
